Anatomy of a carton
What can you brand on the carton?
The front, the side and the social handles are yours; the cap and the board are the part that does without plastic.

Tap the points on the carton to see each part.
Your brand takes the front, the face people look at while they drink. There is room for a slogan too: a short line for your customers and for passers-by.
On the side goes a QR code to your website, an offer or a form. It is the bridge between a moment on the street and the data that ends up in the report.
Made from Bonsucro-certified plant polymers, it keeps moisture out and the water safe until the first sip.
The body of the pack is board from renewable sources with FSC certification. Inside is still water: in our campaigns, the 500 ml size.
Three brands, three cartons
What does a branded carton look like?
Whatever the brand behind it looks like. Black and spare for Rial Rent, light blue with a cartoon character for Scuola Freud, yellow for Refreesh: the format stays the same, the identity changes from top to bottom.

The process
How is a branded water campaign put together?
In eight steps, all of them on us: you set the goals and the message, we handle everything else.
Before
Consultation and feasibility
We start from your goals and assess whether and how carton water can reach them, with cost and benefit projections.
Market research
We look for the right distribution points: the places and times you are most likely to meet your audience.
Artwork
We design the carton around your identity: logo, message, QR code and social handles.
Production
We produce the cartons to high quality standards and in line with food-safety regulations.
During
Distribution
Promoters give the water away at Refreesh distribution points, in the areas and at the hours with the most footfall.
Data collection
On site, people fill in surveys and forms with help from our team.
After
Results analysis
We cross-check the data collected, feedback, interviews and social monitoring to see how the brand was received.
Final report
You get an overview of the goals reached, measured against key performance indicators (KPIs).
How the promoters and the cargo bike work is on the street marketing page; why carton instead of plastic, on sustainable promotional products.
At the end
What do you get at the end of the campaign?
A final report that measures the goals against KPIs, built on the data gathered during the campaign.

- Goals
- The ones set in the first consultation, with the result reached for each.
- On-site data
- Answers to the surveys and forms filled in during distribution.
- Online engagement
- The interest the campaign creates online, while it runs and afterwards.
- Social
- Interactions on your social profiles, monitored throughout the campaign.
- Sales
- Your sales figures, if you choose to share them, to read the effect on the business.
- Brand perception
- Feedback and interviews: what landed well and what to improve next time.
Price, quantities, timing
How much does custom branded water cost?
It depends on quantity, artwork and distribution, so the price comes with your proposal, together with the cost and benefit projections from the first consultation.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Price | In your proposal, after the first consultation |
| Minimum order | In your proposal: it varies with the type of campaign |
| Production and delivery times | In your proposal, based on your dates |
| Size | Still water in a carton pack; in our campaigns, 500 ml |
| Volumes so far | 20,000 cartons over a 4-day fair; 10,000 over 2 days outside schools |
We tell both campaigns on the pages about trade fairs and events and school open days. Every route is on the branded water marketing page; and if you wonder why we do it, Refreesh is a benefit corporation.

Custom branded water: your questions
How much does custom branded water cost?
The price depends on quantity, artwork and distribution, so we don't publish a price list. It comes with your proposal, after a first consultation with cost and benefit projections. Write to us to get started.
Is there a minimum order?
The minimum is set out in your proposal, because it changes with the type of campaign. For a sense of scale, the two campaigns in our company profile handed out 20,000 and 10,000 cartons.
Who designs the carton?
We do: the artwork is one of the eight steps and starts from your brand identity. A front logo, a QR code on the side and social handles are the usual set-up; everything else we decide together.
Is the water safe to drink?
Yes: the cartons are produced to high quality standards and in line with food-safety regulations. The plant-based cap keeps moisture out and protects what is inside.
What is in the final report?
An overview of the goals reached, measured against key performance indicators (KPIs): data collected on site through surveys and forms, online engagement, social interactions and, if you share them, your sales figures.
Shall we put your logo on the water?
In the form, pick the topic “Marketing with carton water”.
