Sustainable promotional products, minus the plastic bottle
What's the difference between a carton pack and a plastic bottle?
The material: the pack is carton from renewable sources, the bottle is plastic. For a giveaway carrying your brand, it's a difference people see and feel the moment they pick it up, and it says something about you before they even read the logo.

| What we compare | Plastic bottle | Refreesh carton pack |
|---|---|---|
| Container | Plastic | Carton from renewable sources, FSC-certified |
| Cap | Plastic | Plant-based, from Bonsucro-certified plant polymers |
| After use | Plastic recycling | Recyclable pack, sorted according to your council's rules |
| Room for your brand | Usually the label | Front and sides: logo, QR code, social handles and a message |
What is the pack made of?
FSC-certified carton from renewable sources, with a plant-based cap made from Bonsucro-certified plant polymers. Pick an item to see it highlighted on the drawing.
- The body of the pack is carton from renewable sources, with FSC certification: it covers where the wood fibre comes from and its supply chain, checked by independent bodies.
- The screw cap is made from plant-derived polymers certified by Bonsucro, the standard for the sugarcane supply chain. It keeps moisture out and the water safe; some of the inner protective layers carry the same certification.
- Once the water's gone, the pack goes into separate collection. Rules vary from council to council: the icons printed on the side help people dispose of it properly.
- The container is a carton pack: nobody is left holding a plastic bottle to throw away. “No plastic, just carton” is how we put it.
What we don't claim
How much CO₂ does a carton pack save?
We can't put a number on it, so we don't. A serious CO₂ figure needs a life cycle assessment (LCA) of this specific product: materials, production, transport, end of life. Until we have one, we tell you precisely what we know and what we don't. It's a choice about transparency: a sustainable giveaway doesn't need inflated numbers.
What we say
- Carton from renewable sources, FSC-certified
- Cap and some protective layers from Bonsucro-certified plant polymers
- Recyclable pack, no plastic bottle
What we don't say
- How many grams of CO₂ you save
- “Zero impact” or “100% plastic-free”
- Percentage comparisons with plastic
Why choose a giveaway people use straight away?
Because it does its job the moment you hand it over: it gets drunk there and then, when it's needed, with your brand in the hand of the person using it.
Everyone needs it
Water suits every age and every season. It's a gift people happily accept, even from a brand they don't know yet.
It doesn't end up in a drawer
It takes up no space and doesn't need keeping: you use it, you recycle it. What stays is the memory of the brand, not one more object.
The message lands while people drink
Logo, QR code and social handles stay in view for every sip. We use it at trade fairs and events, outside schools for open days and on the street with street marketing.
Benefit corporation
What does it mean that Refreesh is a Società Benefit?
It means that, alongside profit, our articles of association commit us to common-benefit purposes towards people, communities and the environment, and we report on them every year. It's a legal status under Italian Law 208/2015 (art. 1, paragraphs 376–384), not a private certification.
In practice: we only use carton packs, we give the water away, and we've committed to supporting water projects in areas where water is scarce. That last one is a commitment, not a result to show off: we'll report on it in our annual impact report.

Questions about sustainable giveaways
Is the Refreesh pack plastic-free?
There's no plastic bottle: the container is carton from renewable sources, FSC-certified. The cap and some protective layers are made from plant-derived polymers, certified by Bonsucro.
Can the pack be recycled?
Yes, the pack is recyclable. How to dispose of it depends on your council's rules: you'll find the collection icons on the side of the pack.
How much CO₂ do you save compared with plastic?
We don't publish CO₂ figures: that would take a life cycle assessment of this product, which we don't have today. Instead, we tell you exactly what the pack is made of and which certifications its materials hold.
What can be customised on the pack?
The front and sides: usually your logo on the front, a QR code on the side and your social handles, plus a short message. We design the artwork and you approve it before production.
What water is in the pack?
Still water: the format you see in our photos is 500 ml. Production follows food safety regulations.
How much does it cost and what's the minimum order?
We don't publish prices, minimum quantities or lead times, because they depend on the campaign. You get them in our proposal: write to us and tell us what you have in mind.
